By 2025, the total value of B2B products sold online in Europe is expected to reach 1.7 trillion euros. However, B2B sellers in Europe are not yet taking full advantage of the available opportunities. Most only allow local buyers to purchase their products.
Although the European market is still quite small, it is estimated to reach 1.7 trillion euros by 2025. As with B2C, e-commerce does not yet play a dominant role in the B2B market. According to Billie's data, only 50 percent of B2B buyers use e-commerce platforms.
Scandinavia appears to be an exception, as 92 percent of B2B companies surveyed expect sales to occur online. Additionally, almost a quarter of B2B companies already sell via e-commerce.
